Tried and tested themes for multisite? | WordPress.org

Hi there
I am setting up a simple multisite instance for a group of kids that I am working with. I’m looking to see if there are any tried and tested themes that I can employ for the site so that the kids have a few choices.
Any and all suggestions appreciated.

There is no special requirement for a multisite theme so you can use any theme you would use for a single wordpress site. A multisite just requires that you enable themes via your multisite dashboard before you can use them.

I use WP3 multisite in a school and the following themes are popular:

Mandigo
BlueMist
Autumn Forest
iBlog
Sunburn
Jd-nebula-3c
Garland
Eco Blog
Chewy
Bullseye
Blue Moon
Antique

A popular theme may not indicate much as the kids try to pick a theme no one else in the school has.

Anyway, install a zillion themes and monitor their usage with a plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpmu-theme-usage-info/
