Tricky nav bar linking

Is it possible to link to a landing page section i.e. mysite.com#section1
from another page which uses the same nav bar as the first page?
Let me try and explain:
Basically I have a nav bar configured with smooth scroll, to scroll to sections on the landing page. But there’s also some pages which use the same nav bar as the landing page but the problem is that this nav bar is configured with the landing page sections even when your not on the landing page.

So when I click a link on the nav bar from one of these other pages, the page tries to link to a section on the landing page even tho you’re no on the landing page.

A little bit convoluted I know but can anyone think of a solution/workaround?
