    Hello,

    My exported report indicates there have been no “employer matches” or “tribute gifts” made on my client’s website (heartsofecmo.org). However, he asked me to look into it because he was told some people have opted for those features, so I made a test $1.00 donation, and filled out the tribute gift information. The exported report says there was no tribute gift and my tribute gift email did not come through to the tribute’s email address (although the donation email to myself did come through). Please help me understand what the issue is, as I am afraid my client will have to reach out to every single donor and ask them to repeat their information.

    There have been a number of user reports about issues in the employer area of the 3.3.x version form. It is therefore likely that you are experiencing a bug in the code.

    One of the first things I noticed when I adopted the plugin back in March was that the form is a single monolithic chunk of HTML embedded in PHP code, which makes it nearly impossible to maintain. That, in fact, is one of the primary motivations behind my rewriting much of the plugin, which will be available in version 4.0 (hopefully in June).     Bottom line: Your client probably has some contact work cut out for him based on the current version of the plugin. When I release a beta for 4.0, please participate in the testing and we’ll make sure those bugs don’t cause extra work in the future.
