“Trashed” posts still appear as related posts

Hello,

I have posts included as related post by using the Include/Exclude option in the Yuzo post options panel in the post/page editor (when editing some post in the WP editor panel) – this works just fine; however, when I delete some of those posts by moving them to Trash (in the Posts panel), they are also removed from the “related posts” list in the post editor panel (the include/exclude feature) – this is also good, but for some reason on the front-end these “trashed” posts still appear as related posts – their image is removed and their URL is now with _trashed suffix.

This is an example page where this problem can be seen, https://www.nv5.com/services/civil-engineering-land-development/; at the bottom there is “NV5 Projects” section with carousel of related projects (posts) – please scroll the carousel to the 9th slide/post, it should show blank NV5 logo image and its URL should be https://www.nv5.com/projects/element-hotel-at-fashion-square-mall__trashed/
