Trash post instead of delete

When the user deletes the post it would be great if it is trashed instead of deleted.

It’s done by this code on line 337 in the file /wpadverts/includes/ajax.php
wp_trash_post( $id, true );

Maybe even better if it’s possible to make it a choice for the admin to either delete or trash?
