In the free version when I remove entries from an entries list to trash bin and next I want to remove them, the bulk options state only Move to trash (weird) or Export Selected. Where is the option Delete permanently?

  • Hi Robinsluijter,

Thanks so much for using Caldera Forms, we’re glad you’re a part of our community.

You will find the option of deleting the entries permanently in the Bulk Actions drop-down in Trash.
Once you send entries to Trash, Go to the Trash Option on the second most top bar and then select delete Permanently from the Bulk Action drop-down.

    Hope that helps!

I know this option should be there, but it isn’t for quite some time now! Only the option Move to trash is shown again, and there’s no way to remove the trashed entries forever!

Should I check the database on settings perhaps, how can I solve this?

Still no real answer to my question, which is very clear, why this sudden silence?

It has not been resolved, so why is this topic solved, you solved nothing, just gave me the obvious explanation, which I did not ask for in the first place, if one would take the time to read my question?!

I have the same issue and also requested help with that several times by mail.
The dropdown menu is fine from the main menu, to send mail to the trashcan, but in the trash can there is no option to delete permanently.

Support for Caldera form is not very good. I have one more issue, but they just dont answer.

@anchaal5: please read my complaint/question thoroughly, and answer accordingly.

You really suggest I’m a regular user, which I’m not, which doesn’t know his way in Caldera Forms, which I certainly can!
I’m really disappointed in the answer here, because you don’t read the complaint thoroughly, noticeable from your answer.

The issue I’m talking about is a bug, and certainly one that exists for a while and sometimes resurfaces.

@ronaldlubach I found the answer, I tried to remove them by selecting the name for a specific form in the sub-menu entry viewer. That’s where I have the issue.

Here it comes: if you go to Caldera Forms > Forms, select the option Entries underneath the form you want to empty the trash of, all active entries will be displayed right of the list of forms, and when you click Trash, Bulk Actions drop-down here will show Delete Permanently and even Restore!

@robin thank you so much for figuring this out. I made a WordPress.org account just to thank you lol.
You were not alone, I too have the same issue and your solution works. It is indeed a bug that still exists but apparently this is not the proper place. I know it is very frustrating when you ask a question and get replies that make you feel the question was not read correctly. At least your experience has helped at least one other person.
