 * Hello, all,
 * I’m new to WordPress so forgive me if this question’s been answered elsewhere.
   I want to put a WP blog on my website, at mysite/blog. On my homepage I want
   to expose the three most recent blog entries among a bunch of other content.
   So I copy/pasted some Loop code in. So far, so good.
 * Problem is, when the database is down it causes the entire homepage to die spectacularly.
   I’d like to trap this condition and have it carry on, maybe just rendering a
   nice message in the blog portion of the page.
 * Any suggestions? In advance, thanks.
 * –Ray
