    Hello.

I am encountering a problem similar to that in this thread.

I just upgraded WP to 4.6.1, and the Jetpack (4.3.2) and Akismet (3.2) plugins for my self-hosted site. When I opened the WP for iOS app, I get a dialog with the error mentioned. Since most of this solution has been hidden, I cannot attempt to resolve this issue with what has been published.

    Thanks for your consideration.

    J.

    Jetpack Mechanic 🚀

Jetpack uses your site’s XML-RPC file to communicate with WordPress.com. Unfortunately I cannot access that file on your site at the moment:

I’d recommend that you contact your hosting provider and ask them if they currently block access to your site’s XML-RPC file. Once they allow access again, you should be able to use Jetpack or the mobile apps.

    I hope this helps.

    Jeremy,

Thank you for your response. I followed up with my hosting provider. They made a change on their end, and resolved the issue. Thank you for your consideration.

    J.
