  • Hello @archimidism,

    I need some help with the frontpage of the atlast business theme. you have already designed the frontpage and given options to optimise. When I checked the frontpage page in the pages it was empty. I want to remove the header image and insert a slider of images. I saw the slider option that you have given for pages but I want to add my custom slide… could you please help.

    Hello dear @janetrechel.
    This theme works great with the Smart Slider 3 Plugin.

    Have a look at this topic here.

    Hello,

    Thank you it did help to insert the slider in the homepage. Now am back to square one with the header issue. you gave me code for custom background image so the header can be semi transparent but now the customer does not want custom background for each page rather they want pictures on top of every page like in this site http://indianorphanage.com/orphanage-history/.

    I tried inserting images directly in the editor,with visual editor, image widget, everything comes under the header like in this page http://www.raysofpeace.com/?page_id=2428.

    how do I get the picture to be behind the header and get the semi transparent header?
    please help

    Dear @janetrechel
    well I am afraid that at the moment you can’t do that with this theme .
    There is not such an option with that theme, and maybe most of the the Free themes out there.. Unfortunately.

    You have to go with another theme or really custom coding to achieve something like the example you gave me with the atlast business theme. In the next few weeks I will release a Free powerful version where you could do something like that however at the moment you can’t. Maybe in the next updates or so.

    hello @archimidism,

    thanks for the info. while i was looking for the header issue i came across this plugin called WP DISPLAY THEMES, wich helps to add different headers to each page. so now i have the option to have different headers, regarding the transparency i used the code you gave which makes the header transparent only in home page. could you help http://www.raysofpeace.com/?page_id=2428

    Dear @janetrechel
    could you please send me some examples of your pages where you have added different headers?

    Hello,
    Sorry for the delayed response, was travelling for the past few days.
    here are the link for few pages where I have added different headers.

    Well you have to do some custom css work here, but not difficult at all. Lets say that you want this page to have trasparent background:

    http://www.raysofpeace.com/?page_id=2432

    Add the following CSS in the custom CSS tab in the native customizer.

    .page-id-2432 header{
    width: 100% !important;
        position: absolute;
        z-index: 9999;
        border-bottom: none!important;}

    This will work for the page with id 2432. Apply also for the other pages and please contact me to tell me whether you have succeeded.

    Hello,

    the code you gave brought the header image inside the header and then I added this code
    background: rgba(105,105,105,0.55) !important;
    which made it semi transparent . thank you so much.

    Hello Archimidis,

    hope you are doing. the sticky header option is not working though it is activated. is it because i have used custom coding that you gave for semi transparent header it is not working? please help i want the sticky header to be fixed, i tried many codes not working. i even tried a plugin called mystickyheader still it wont work. could you help with a css code for it. Thank you.
