Dear Joe MC, thanks for making this app freely available.

I have recently changed my wordpress theme, the tickers are still doing their thing but against grey background as compared to the transparent ‘background’ before. Do you have any idea what the problem is?

    Thanks – Darren

And one more question, please if you will.

On using quotation marks in some of my ticks “xyz”, after saving, the format changes, in that the in quote (which leans to the right) becomes an out quote (facing to the left). I wouldn’t mind so much but when using large fonts the error sticks out like a sore thumb!

    Can this be rectified?

    Many thanks!

    1. Please provide a link to your site so I can see the tickers.
    2. This is probably just how the font you are using renders the quotation marks.

Dear Joe, thanks for your patience.

The problem with the quotes seems to have cleared up with the changing of the website theme, but the issue with the background persists on ticks with images, but seems okay with text ticks:

Any idea whats going on? Thanks

Put your post into edit mode. You shortcode is probably wrapper in

tags. Delete those tags and your background issue whould be fixed.

    Dear Joe Mc,

I’ve got another problem. Its happened a few times when publishing a new tick. But I usually manage to play with the settings and put it right. When this page was posted the other day the tick was working fine (height around 170), but today on inspection, it seems to have gone haywire:

    What causes this…

    Many thanks again (Y)

I’m not quite sure what the is going on. Which ticker is it on your site?
