 * Is it possible to make the space between posts transparent to allow the user 
   to see more of the backround image?

 * You can try some trickery with setting the opacity

 * You could try giving the css for the .post or .entry or whatever your theme uses
   background:transparent; in the css. Haven’t tried it, don’t know if it would 
   work, would depend on theme mostly probably….

 * cant seem to get it to work, would like a transparent gap between the header 
   and the first post also. Is there a theme out there that has such a thing?
