Transparent Site Title

Hi,

I want to get the title background on my new website http://www.absolutelylondon.com to look more like that on my old website http://www.crunchyprices.com.

This means I need to turn the title area transparent (instead of the default black) and then add partially transparent images.

Any help very gratefully received. I have spent hours and hours trying to work out how it was done last time.
