[Resolved] Transparent PNG header turning black

  • My Website: http://pixelizedreality.com/

The header of the image is supposed to be transparent, it’s exactly 1000 x 196 as per the necessary height and width of the header. I have not cropped it using wordpress. Instead of it being transparent however, it turns up with a black background. I’ve looked through the editor to see if there was any forced black background for the header but I could not see any if there was.

Many of the issues I find when looking for an answer are that people have used wordpress to crop their image, thus making it a JPG. My the image link for my page is: http://pixelizedreality.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/logonew1.png clearly a non-cropped .PNG

I can’t quite figure out where I’ve gone wrong in attempting to fix this issue, if anybody has any suggestions I’d be grateful.
