• Hey!

I’ve experienced that the transparent menu gets replaced with a white bar in the latest theme update. Seems to be related to the new Content Area Vertical Spacing feature, cause by disabling the spacing completely, the transparent menu is again visible. Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/yZNlbVJ

    Hello Bjarne,
Actually it’s not replaced by a white bar but you see the spacing from the Content Vertical Spacing option 🙂
Yes, you are right, you can get rid of it by disabling the Content Area Vertical Spacing, you can do that for all pages at once or only for a certain page.

I think we could automate this process a little bit and if you will use a transparent header the top spacing for that page will be automatically disabled, what do you think about this?

    Cheers.

Hey! Thanks for clearing things up. I haven’t been using the transparent menu a lot, but I can’t imagine I’d want the Content Area Vertical Spacing enabled on pages with transparent menus. So maybe that OFF could be the sensible default on those pages, as the option to actively turn it ON exists, should you wish to do so?

Thanks for making this great theme available to the community, and your amazing support.

Hi, just would like to mention, that for transparent header too, it should be possible to have some vertical spacing defined once in the customizer, it should be effective (otherwise, one has to insert a spacer element in each page/ post which needs vertical spacing to the top). I see too ways to deal with that:
    a) the one working with transparent header and wants to have no vertical space at all, could set that to zero (but keep in mind this is not ideal, as it would mean there is not vertical spacing at the bottom too)
    b) one can set vertical spacing as default only to the bottom for pages/ posts/ cpts/ products as of today and that is fine

So I dont see a need for changing the current situation at all, as it gives you all the freedom needed
