[resolved] Transparent Banner Background (3 posts)

    I am having a hard time taking the background out of the banner. I have tried these solutions out to edit the css file with the following:

    background-color: none;
    background: transparent;
    background-color: transparent;
    background: none;
    background: rgba(0,0,0,0);

    None of this works, there is no option to give transparency on the color picker. I am trying to add images with a transparent background.

    Can you offer an idea or solution?

    Hello!

    Could you please share a link to your site, so I could take a look at it, and hopefully provide you with the necessary css?

    For any image to appear transparent, it has to be a .png image, with the transparent parts already set up in some photo editing software, so make sure that your image is set up this way.

    Greetings,
    Balint

    If you want a different Banner background image, then simply go into the Theme Options (APPEARANCE > THEME OPTIONS) and either

    (A) Remove the existing banner image, if you don't want it, or
    (b) Upload a new, transparent png, for your new banner image
