[Resolved] transparency settings

  • Hi,

is it possible to set page transparency –
make base color transparent instead of white?

    any hints, links appreciated,
im using a video background and the template would work
really well as an navigation overlay if could be set to transparent

im happy to find this theme,
the subtlety of the color change, the rollover functions, the circular graphics
quite nice and different than majority of themes

Hi there! Yes, you can use CSS in a child theme or a CSS plugin (like Jetpack) to do this. I recommend using Firebug for CSS work–makes it much easier.

Find any elements you want to change with a white background and set to a background-color of rgba(255,255,255,.5) (adjusting the last number to your desired opacity).

ETA: You could also set it to transparent, forgot to mention that!
