# Translucent Dream Theme – Adding Background

 * A friend suggested putting a light gray or tan background graphic in the text
   of my blog to keep it from looking so stark. He uses little subtle squares that
   don’t interfere with the text, but take the glare off of the screen. My blog 
   address is [http://www.gods3x5.com](http://www.gods3x5.com). Do you have any 
   ideas on if this is possible, and how I would do it. I’m a beginner and so not
   very technical on the mechanics of the site.
