Translator Suggestion not being processes

    Hi,

    I have a site at www2.polyglot.com.au and I have set up Google translator on the site. I can manually edit the translations through the manager but it appears when I or someone else uses the site and hovers over a translation the suggestion box doesn’t work.

    It allows me to edit the translation but when I click ‘contribute’ nothing happens. My browser says “waiting for http://www.google-translate… (or something similar) for a second and disappears shortly after leaving the suggestion box unchanged. I compared this to a test site i found (http://blogs.sitepointstatic.com/examples/tech/translate/index.html) where the suggested translation processes and the bottom of the suggestion box would turn green and confirm the suggestion was sent.

    The suggestion won’t show up in my translator manager which is a function I’d like to be able to use.

    What could be causing this? Any help would be appreciated

    I am also having this issue – even when I just use the manual code input that google translate provides.

    Thanks guys, for posting this.

    diegorod, I’m glad you mentioned the default code provided by Google, which shows that this is not necessarily a plugin issue. This is some type of Geographic issue they are having, or some other type of problem that only allows certain websites to function properly with the translation management function.

    The sad part is that it’s such a great feature when it works!

    At this point, I’m not very much help in trying to get this fixed. But I will keep my eyes open and see if anyone has come up with a solution for this. It has been some time since I last checked.

    No problem. I thought it might be an issue on their end. Let me know if any possible solution comes your way, and I will do the same.
