Translations: PO-File Versionning?

    Hi all,

    I’m facing the situation, that I bought a theme with provided “EN_en.po” files. So I open these files in POEdit (OSX) and translate them without any issues into my language (German) “DE_de.po”. Works like a charm.

    But how can I now control the version of these files, if the theme provider i.e. updates it’s version and adds new language strings to the EN_en.po file? Can I now merge the new with the old file that I don’t have to do all translations again? If yes, how can I do so?
