    Hi

I’ve got the premium version of your plugin, but I am having some issues with the free core version.

I have Loco Translate installed and I am well versed in this plugin having used it for many years. However, when I create a new Language file for Eventin (in my case (English GB)) and make changes to that translation, the changes are not showing within the plugin.

I have done the same with the Pro version of Eventin, and changes made their do show correctly on the site, it is just when I edit the free core version that changes do not display.

I have my site language set to English GB so and language files made for that language should take precedence…but they are not in this plugin!

Please help. I’ve followed your Documentation exactly, without success.

    Kind Regards

    Steven

    Hi @stevec0023,

    Greetings,

As you know we have updated our layout recently and there is some compatibility issue with the event listing and event editing text only but the rest of the settings and frontend page are translatable purly. Our team is working hard to make this compatible with the translation so please allow us some time so that we can provide you a better experience soon.

If you need to be translated the whole plugins at this moment, then we suggest to roll back on v3.3.57

Please check the documentation for rolling back https://support.themewinter.com/docs/plugins/plugin-docs/rolback-v4-to-v3/rollback-v4-to-v3/

    Best Regards

    Hi

I am still waiting for the plugin to be translatable for both the frontend and back end of the system. My clients need have access to the backend to submit events and some of your content needs to be written in correct English.

On a similar note, on the frontend when an event has ‘expired’, a notice is shown on the single event page (if using Template 2 or 3) that says “This Event Has Expaired”.

This should say ‘expired’ not ‘expaired’. When I try to change this via Loco Translate, that text does not appear to be in the language file. I assume this is hard coded and not dynamic.

Can you please make this text translatable so I can fix the spelling mistake?

    Many thanks

    Hi

Thanks for your response! I do like to work with a team that is attentive to the customer’s needs…it makes a change!!

I can change the text myself, but only by changing the core code. Updates will overwrite these changes so best practice is to use language files for such changes.

I look forward to your coming update and will continue to point out any errors I find when working with your plugin as I do like it and want to help (if possible) to get a fully working product.

    Thanks again!!

    Hi Support

I regret to re-open this ticket after so long. I am still waiting for the plugin to be translatable on both front and back end.

When is this going to be solved? I opened this ticket over 4 months ago, and I am still waiting.
