    Hi

Thanks a lot for your kindness and great support. As I posted in a previous message, we´re doing some tests in order to develop your membership solution. We´re using WordPress in spanish (es_ES). We downloaded your .po and .mo file (paid-memberships-pro-es_Es) from the plugin´s language folder, and then edited some translation and compiled the file.

After that, we copied them into /wp-content/languages/plugins and we see some string in Spanish and other in English. We can´t found those English non translated in the .po file. Are you using another file with translations? Which is the best way to accomplish this task?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @victorlaphille

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro. Could you tell me what strings aren’t being translated?

For Paid Memberships Pro (core) we recommend in using GlotPress to translate the strings – https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/paid-memberships-pro/

Please can you have a look to see if the strings are translated on GlotPress?

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your kindness. I´ve installed GlotPress but as you´ve to import originals, the strings are not included in the .po file. This is why I asked about it you use several po files or some strings are directly take from php code.

    Thanks a lot.

    Víctor.

Thanks for the feedback Victor, I don’t think you need to install GlotPress but visit the following link to ensure that the translations are done on WordPress.org for your locale – https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/paid-memberships-pro/

Once these translations are approved by the community/volunteers this locale should become available.

Can you tell me specifically what strings are not showing up in the language files so I may investigate this further?

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply. I solved it but I can tell you if is useful for you or others.

The strings are all included in the .pot file, so I downloaded it and created a new translation Some of these missing in es_ES are:

    Yes, cancel this membership
    No, keep this memebership
    Update billing info
    My memberships
    Edit
    Cancel
    Ammount

As almost all of them are Ok, i just translated these few into a new .po file and copied to /languages/loco/plugins/

    Thanks a lot
