@marietek
The *.po file is the human readable version, you need to get the *.mo – machine readable version uploaded to your server for the translation to work – it may also be that the translation file is out of date.
Thanks for your answer
I have both.po and .po
I did it again and it is translated all in the .po
Does the .mo must be compiled ?
Have a nice day

Another idea…
I use subscribe2-fr_FR.po and this message is in Subscribe2 widget…
@marietek
Yes *.po files must be processed into machine readable *.mo files.
The Widget is part of the main plugin now, a separate plugin for the widget is not required and translations won’t work across plugins.
Thanks you for your answer.
I did not know that the widget is now in the main part! Better!
But still I have no translation in the site as I have it in the .po :
– You may manage your subscription options from your profile
– Vous pouvez régler vos options d’abonnement depuis votre profil
More idea ?
Have a nice afternoon

You can access and update the translation files here:
https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/fr/default/wp-plugins/subscribe2/
Or you could directly edit the code to update the translation (but this would get revert on any plugin update). If you want to do this edit the class/class-s2-frontend.php
file. You are looking for line 12, it starts:
$this->profile =
Hi
I see that the “good” translation I am looking for is in “waiting”.
How can I confirm it, for the use ?
Nice day
marie
You can try to become the Editor of your translations here:
https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/rosetta/theme-plugin-directories/
Or select the Stable or Development translation, filter on ‘All’, then at the bottom of the table ‘Export’ ‘only matching the filter’ as an *.mo file.
You’ll probably need to remake it and upload it to your server for it to work.
