# Translation problem on multisite

 * Hi everyone,
 * I’ve updated a Multisite install to 4.0.1, with the chosen language being portuguese.
   In the 4.0 version, everything was working properly, however after the 4.0.1 
   update, certain menu items in the backoffice (example: the Dashboard menu item)
   have changed to English, and so have the date formats in the frontend.
 * Is this a known issue, or has anyone experienced this before ?

 * Hi, and thanks for the answer! I proceeded to the solution shown in that topic(
   removing translation files from wp-content/languages, setting constant WP_LANG
   in wp-config.php and updating languages, and the problem went away.
