    Can you improve the translation option? It’s a great plugin, but translation is its weakness. The word POINTS, for example, in many European languages ​​requires 3 forms: singular, plural, other. Here in Core Settings / Labels we only have 2 fields and there should be 3 (other). Without it, the scores always show a linguistic error.

    What’s more, the name for POINT/POINTS used in Core Settings / Labels also appears on the list in the Admin Panel – there should be a separate translation in the POT / PO file, and certainly not in Settings / Labels where there are any settings for the scoring system.

    Currently, the translation is solved in a very simple way and for some languages ​​where endings are not declined it is OK. But in many European languages, 3 forms are needed, such as for example in POT / PO files – singular, plural, other. This can be solved in many ways – add 1 more text field to the translation in Core Settings / Labels or add the same phrases but in 3 variants to POT / PO – then the translation in POT / Po would be superior.

    We still don’t understand what do you mean by “other” so for better understating please share some examples and some real life scenario so we can forwarded it our technical team.

    Also, we will be adding the translation support so you can translate the string in the POT file.

    English
    Plural: Point
    Singular: Points

    Polish
    Plural: Punkt (1 punkt)
    Singular: Punkty (2 punkty, 24, 123, 422)
    Other: Punktów (0 punktów, 57, 99, 127)

    You cannot understand this because you do not speak a language that inflects word suffixes. I can send you a sample PO file with examples like this, but the matter is quite simple from my point of view:

    1) Singular – it’s obvious because it’s only 1 possibility.
    2) Plural – This is similar to the plural in English.
    3) Other – This is usually the Genitive. When you ask: whom? what? *

    * I am not sure how it is in English, but it is probably the same in Greek and in many European languages, including Polish – in Polish the “OTHER” mode is literally a word in the form of “genitive / dopełniacz” and answers the questions “whom / kogo ?,” what / czego ?”.

    Plural: Punkty (2 punkty, 3, 4, 22, 23, 24, 32, 33, 34, 42, 43, 44, 52, 53, 54)
    Other: Punktów (0 punktów, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21)

    There is some logic to it, but I don’t know what it is.
