    Hi,
Here’s the code, if you want to translate it, please send me the translation 🙂

OMG Satrya… You gave me a half of hour job to figure out where to find and how change the ON word. 🙂

For all others who are reading this and are (like me) not programers, on the line 69 in the above link (or line 52 if you C/P the code in some code editor) replace the “son” in “%1$s %2$son%3$s %4$s” with your translation, but leaving the “s”. 🙂

Thank you for helping. Nice widget.

It’s not easy to translate the ON word, because literal translation is not in the spirit of our lagugage (Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian). I tried to use several translations, but in the end chose “na temu”, with literal translation “on topic”, but in the spirit of english language it would be more like “about topic”. Some ppl might not agree with me, so don’t take this translation as 100% suitable for all.

I see, how about if I give a space between %2$s and on, does it will work with translation?

    I’m not sure I understand the question. Translation works well. I changed “%1$s %2$son%3$s %4$s” to “%1$s %2$sna temu%3$s %4$s” and I expirienced no problem.

But if your question is how to make it more intinuitive for non english users to translate the ON word, then, if I knew PHP enough to make it, I would add that to the widget options. In admin panel apearance/widgets, when you collapse Recent Comment Plus widget, there is an option to change the title. The good thing about that input field is not just to change the title, but to translate it as well. The best way to translate the ON word (IMO) would be to add under the title input field the input field to change the ON word. Since there is nothing else in this widget to translate, this option would probably easaly make this widget internationaly excepted. Default should be ON, of course, but you let users to change it.

I see, that would make easier for uses to change the word. I’ll consider this feature, thank you for your suggestion 🙂

    Regards

Nice touch with rounded avatars. However, updated version overwrote my translation. So, translating inside functions.php file is not a good idea, because it works only until the next update. 🙂

You wrote for the newst version that you updated language file and added french translation. What does that mean? Where is that file, and how to enable it when I translate all what’s inside?
