Translation not possible, wrong text domain?

    Hi, thank you for a great plugin!

    Unfortunately, there is no translation to my locale, as string looks like to be found in text domain ‘woocommerce’, but not.
    Eg. string “Verification Number (CVV)” is not present in WooCommerce traslations, and If I would like to translate WooCommerce Braintree Payment Gateway
    plugin locally by Loco Translate, I do not get any language strings, as they are linked to ‘woocommerce’ text domain.

    Hi, We used the text domain “woocommerce” hoping that most of the strings would come from the core plugin (as these texts are very generic for most payment gateways so it should already be present in the translation). That way you won’t need to do individual translation for this addon.

    How many total strings are missing a translation at the moment?

    Hi, sorry to come back after longer time.
    I would appreciate translated at least front-end strings:

      Card Number
      Expiry
      Verification Number (CVV)
      Month
      Year
      Please check the credit card number.
      Please check credit card expiration month.
      Please check credit card expiration year.
      Please check CVV number.

    Because text domain is “woocommerce”, I cannot see a way, how to append strings for translation.

    Can you find any solution?
