 * Hi,
    Since I have applied the update WP-DownloadManager 1.68.1 the translation
   files .mo and .po are no longer taken into account. I can no longer translate
   the pluging. I don’t know how to translate WP-DownloadManager. Can you help me?
 * Best regards

 * Hello,
 * Thank you for your very quick reply.
    If I understand well, now to translate
   the pluging wp-DownloadManager I have to install the plugin Polyglot for an online
   translation. This means that is no more possible to have a translation on an
   intranet without internet connection. No possibility of using the files .po and.
   mo stored on the web server itself?
 * Best regards

 * That is not really how it works, checkout [http://wptavern.com/how-to-prepare-and-take-advantage-of-language-packs-for-plugins-hosted-on-wordpress-org](http://wptavern.com/how-to-prepare-and-take-advantage-of-language-packs-for-plugins-hosted-on-wordpress-org)

 * From what I read on Polyglot, it’s not good to remove .po.mo files if the plugin
   is not fully translated. From the list you give, there’s not a single language
   that has reached 100%. Moreover, I believe this idea of “auto-translation” sucks
   🙂 I have already used plugins with such feature, and it really sucks believe
   me. There are often translations done by some illiterate person, and the option
   of doing your own translation with .po.mo is always the best. I have no idea
   why WP is going this direction.
