Support » Plugin: Duplicate Post » Translation get messed up when I clone a custom post type

  • Resolved somlaweb

I’m using your plugin Duplicator Post to duplicate a custom content type created by the plugin:

This plugin creates a custom post type called: ‘Global forms’. This post are translatables by the WPML plugin.

Problem is that when I clone a ‘Global form’ the translation get messed up. The new cloned post gets the wrong translations.

Can you give us support to fix this problem?

  • Hello,

I did a mistake, forget my previous message. Thing is that the custom post type ‘global form’ is not listed in the Duplicate Post Setting to check as enabled. Please, take a look at my capture see what I mean:

How can add it there to be checked as enabled?

I just contacted the author of the ‘Global Form’ post to make sure that the ‘Global forms’ are a custom post type. He told me this:

“Yes, the global forms is a custom post type called “TM Global Forms” and the options are saved in the custom post meta data like in the normal product. “

I understand then, that this Custom Post Type should be listed here:

How can I sort this out?

    I opened a new post.
