    Hi everyone,

thanks for the great plugin. We have it installed on a corporate Website and it works very smooth.

The only problem we have is the translation. Since v4.3, WordPress allows to choose German formal language (de_DE_formal). Unfortunately this is not detected by WP-Members which only translates to German if de_DE is set.

Could you please add de_DE_formal to the mix? Thanks in advance!

    Cheers

It’s not that it’s “not detected” – it’s that there is no complete translation for that particular locale. When a translation is at 100%, it will download and install automatically when you select that language.

Feel free to participate in the translation:

How can I get translations to be approved?

    Thanks!

Hmmm… I’m at a loss there. I guess I need to get more involved in the polyglots group. I’ve generally not been very involved in translations directly when it comes to that because I don’t speak the language (in most cases – in the case of German, I speak a little, but not enough to review a translation).

    The DE team is here:

I’ll get on slack and see about either approving what’s there. I think there is one German editor for the plugin already, but I’ll see about adding you (if you’re interested).
