Translation for Falco-Muffin vertical slider
-
Hi,
I installed the Polylang plugin in order to use translated version for my posts, pages and media. This works perfectly with my theme (Falco http://forum.muffingroup.com/falco/) except for the vertical slider on top of the homepage.
The Polylang plugin offers a sidebar to add a translation which will automatically create a new database entry (ex. http://www.landschaft.fr/?p=189) but linked to the original languange version (ex. http://www.landschaft.fr/?p=79). So far, everything works fine.
But now the problem seems to be, that the text stored inside the slides doesn’t get its translated version. (http://www.landschaft.fr/de/prasentation/ vs. http://www.landschaft.fr/fr/presentation/).
While writing the 2nd language version, I will everytime overwrite the original one… which means, that it seems impossible to create translated version of a given slide?!
The theme developer claims only full support for the WPML pugin… but yours is much more versatile for what I’m doing.
Thanks a lot for sharing your insights.
