You can refer the below link for creating .po and .mo files:

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer.

I know how to use poedit or how to modify a .po and .mo files.

But I can’t find the language file for the plugin Checkout Field Editor. The .pot file. Does it exist ? Where ? Can’t find it in the language folder for plugins, neither in the folder of the plugin itself.

    Thank you

We have released the latest version of our plugin in which we have added the folder languages and added pot file in it.

Please update your plugin to its latest version.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    Thanks.

But my problem is to be able to translate the form. My website is in French and German. The first language is French, so my check out form is in French, but when I switch on German, the label stay in French.

In the pot file, there are not the label of the form… so I can’t translate them. When I’m not using your plugin, the translation is ok.

    Do I miss something ?
Do you hae a suggestion ?
    Thanks

We have released the latest version of our plugin in which we have made the Admin screen text translatable. Also, we have fixed the email translation issue.

Please update the plugin to its latest version and verify from your side.

Further, please note that the WooCommerce default fields will be available in the WooCommerce translation file. If the label of the default field is modified then you need to add that field in our plugins .pot file inorder to translate.

Also, for the custom fields created using our plugin, you need to manually add the details in the .pot file before creating the .po and .mo file since the fields modified and created are dynamic data.

You need to add the below format in the pot file:

    msgid “your_field_label”
    msgstr “”

For example, if the label of your field is “Date” which you need to translate then you need to provide the below details in your pot file before translation.

    msgid “Date”
    msgstr “”

If you are still facing the issue, then it requires a detail check so please raise a ticket through our website. We hope our technical team will be able to help you.

    Thank you!
