    Hi,

Cannot transtale your plugin to Swedish, trying to translate the ‘Clear’ button and other message that can be provided when the filter criteria is not applicable!

I’m using Loco translate and Say What plugin to translate all i need to be translated. But cannot do your plugin with any program.

Is there anything missing in your plugin to be able to complete the translation?
    Can you help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

I’m on the Swedish WordPress translator team (I’m not related in any way with this particular plugin).

I checked a bit and found a few things that would be good to correct.

    1. /trunk/readme.txt declares Stable tag: 1.0.9
This means that there should be a tagged version “1.0.9”, but there is not.
Either create the structure /tags/1.0.9/… or change the declaration to Stable tag: trunk
Tested up to: 5.1.1 Here you can set 5.1, the plugin directory will automatically reflect this as the latest released minor version of 5.1.
    2. It seems this plugin isn’t using the normal gettext approach to translations, and that’s why “Say What”, etc. don’t work.

If possible, I’d really recommend changing the code to enable translation via https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/woo-product-filter/

    Instructions are found at https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/internationalization/how-to-internationalize-your-plugin/

WordPress core already supports translation in a similar way for Javascript code, and this possibility should soon become available for plugins, too.
