You don’t need the english .po files. You can use the plugin “CodeStyling Localization” and it will generate the *.po and *. mo files. This is a very good and easy to use plugin.
Many of theme users would be delighted if you shared your translation files with the community. Just send the *.po and *. mo files generated by this plugin to me and I will include the translation files within the one of the next theme update.
