In version 1.3.6, we made strings refinement focusing mainly on frontend facing strings. A second round of strings refinement focusing on all strings in the plugin is work in progress which is scheduled to be updated a little later. Thanks for your queries and suggestions on this, we feel that it’s better to release this update sooner than later.

This time we will make an extensive check of all strings making sure they are clear, grammatically correct, no typos and comes with context for strings that are not understandable by itself. This time we will make sure that it goes through our editorial team as well.

Now coming to your suggestions:

  – It’s basically hitting enter while typing and going to new line. It maybe from some libraby/framework that we use within the plugin, we will see how we can make this better for translation.

  – Yes, it is minute, will provide context in the translation.
• No state founds > No state found ? (What does “state” stand for here? Geographical region or situation/status?)
  – It’s state as in address. Seems like context is necessary here as well.
• Sol > What does that mean?
  – It’s currency for Peru. It’s also from library that we use, so, I am not sure if we can provide context in the translation or not. We will see.
• Store > Does that mean “Save/Stock this” (a verb) or “Shop” (a noun)?
  – It means Shop. I now feel that while you check the backend of the plugin and find the strings, it is easier to understand but I do understand that when seeing just the word while translating, it can be a lot confusing without the context.
• to > Explanation needed – xyz to xyz
  – This should not be there as it is but like as a part of sentence. We will check on it and update accordingly.
• to the > Explanation needed – xyz to the xyz?
  – same as above.
• The passwords don’t match (x2)
  – will be updated.
• Type CONFIRM to proceed. > I understand that the word CONFIRM should not be translated. Is that correct?
  – Yes, you are correct.
• Whether to the answers. > Something is missing here.
  – will be updated as necessary.
• Welcome to your dashboard. Here you can view your overview and your stats.

If you are willing to make your Turkish translation available for others, then it’s better to add those here at Masteriyo translation page. However, all your translation will go under moderation and will only be live (live as in available to other users) once one of the respective locale’s PTE (Project Translation Editor) or GTE (General Translation Editor) approve them which can take some time as it voluntary work. However, this is the right way to go and maybe we can request respective PTE or GTE to approve them.
