# Translating WordPress

 * Hi!
    I have read the WordPressLocalization part of the Wiki, but there are two
   thing that I could not find out. Firstly, is there a tool for processing the .
   po files, or should I use my favourite text editorâ„¢? Secondly, how can I find
   out what are the languages what WordPress have been already translated to? …I
   want to translate it to Hungarian. Thank you in advance. (Sorry for my not-so-
   perfect english)

   lists all currently available translations. You can use any text editor you want,
   but emacs (with po-mode) or poEdit (for almost any os) makes it easier. Those
   are the ones I have used atleast, along with emacs without po-mode. 😉

    I did not find Hungarian in the Wiki, so I downloaded poEdit (great 
   prog! Or at least better than notepad for the job), and started translating… 
   I can’t wait to finish it. I did some translating work in the past, and from 
   English to Hungarian it is easy as pie (mostly… 😉 ).

 * Norwegian bokmål translation is available here:

   and [http://folk.uio.no/torjjo/nb_NO.po](http://folk.uio.no/torjjo/nb_NO.po) 
   This translation needs finish. Be my guest. It may also need some adjustment 
   when it comes to line number references to the index.php file. The header is 
   not complete. Apart from that, it is a good first draft. (Doesn’t cover plugins
   though.) Keep ut the good work folks! 🙂
