[Resolved] Translating several texts at Easel theme

  • Hello,

    I am translating Easel for my blog. I am unable to find the place where some of the texts are located however, namely:
    1.The word “Comment”/”Comments” that appears under every post as a link to see comments.
    2.The date names (e.g. names and abbreviations of months – I’d prefer to change it to simpler verstion, e.g. 2013-04-15 10:30 instead of April 15, 2013 at 10:30 pm)
    3.Facebook “Sign up to see what your friends like”
    4.”Search…” text that is to be replaced by search querry

    Could you please note where could I find these words in theme files?

    @frumph

    1. That’s a translation string: code from displaypost.php

    <?php comments_popup_link('<span class="comment-balloon comment-balloon-empty">&nbsp;</span>'.__('Comment&nbsp;','easel'), '<span class="comment-balloon">1</span> '.__('Comment ','easel'), '<span class="comment-balloon">%</span> '.__('Comments ','easel')); ?>

    2. get_the_date(get_option(‘date_format’)) uses the date_format from the settings section of your wp-admin, change it there

    3. That’s facebook added, it’s not in the code.

    4. searchform.php also a translation string already

    _e('Search...','easel');

    Keep looking for them, they’re there.
