Hi,

I translated your Events Calendar using Poedit, placing .po and .mo files to “/wp-content/languages/plugins” and everything works fine. The only thing I need help translating is date picker. Your date picker is from external vendor (I think it’s a Boostrap date picker) and I found .js files in “/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/vendor/bootstrap-datepicker/js” but I’m not sure how to translate it. I saw somebody asked same question few days ago (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/translate-months-into-datepicker-bootstrap/) and I have red all the articles you linked there, but there is no answer on how to translate date picker from external vendor. Any information could be helpful.

Thanks for reaching out — that’s a great question, I can help with that 🙂

The case with many of the languages is that they are not 100% translated which is probably what is happening here meaning that the strings do not exist in the PO files.

You can manually override strings with a snippet → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

Or try third-party plugin Say What?
