    Could it be that the slug translated via TranslatePress is placed in the canonical URL of the original language URL?

    I had this issue, the fix was simple, pushing an update the post/page/product solves the issues.

    Also,can you tell me if the default language had a slug translated on another language or the translated language had a canonical in default language?

    Yes, we translated the slug in each language (two actually: default Italian, 2nd English)
