Hello @sunlight1976
Our plugin is fully compatible with Polylang and WPML multilingual plugins. But it’s not fully compatible with Translatepress, as this plugin doesn’t create separate Posts for translations.
We will try to make compatibility with coming updates and notify you about updates.
Best regards
many thanks for your kind reply!
Hello again @sunlight1976 🙂
Seems Sitemap Cache was enable in our testing environment, so we have checked our plugin with Translatepress and everything is working right 🙂
So we officially announce that our plugin is compatible with Translatepress Multilingual plugin. Now, you can install our plugin and easily generate Sitemaps.
Please let us know if there any problems.
Best regards
Hi, I tested the updated plugin.
It do not put in xml sitemap the translated page by translatepress, only pages in original languages.
Maybe it works only if translatepress is in premium mode (paid)?
TranslatePress paid can generate sitemap.xml for translated pages, while the free version do not generate sitemap.xml.I received no reply, could you just investigate if it will only work with paid Translatepress version?
thanks
Sorry for Kate reply. Recently we released 1.6.3 version with some improvements and fixes for Translatepress compatibility. Please update our plugin and check your Sitemap once again. Also, it should work even with Free version of Translatepress, as we checked the Sitemap with Free version.
Also, our plugin generates Sitemaps for each language and you can check them under each language URL such:
https://example.com/sitemap.xml – Default language
https://example.com/es/sitemap.xml – Secondary language
https://example.com/de/sitemap.xml – Secondary languageBest Regards
Thanks, sitemap generation for alternative languages works (it was not clear that I had to add language prefix in sitemap url).
Now https://studiolegaleasmahi.it/sitemap.xml has default language, while https://studiolegaleasmahi.it/en/sitemap.xml is the sitemap for english language.
Is it possibile to generate a single sitemap with all languages (or an index sitemap with reference to the 2 sitemaps) instead of submitting to google search console both sitemaps?

I think there is an error in secondary language sitemap.
When I try to add it to Google Search Engine as sitemap it shows error: “Impossible to read sitemap”, but it’s shown correctly in browser: https://studiolegaleasmahi.it/en/sitemap.xml
Today both sitemaps (default and english) have the same error:
“Impossible to read sitemap”
both https://studiolegaleasmahi.it/sitemap.xml and https://studiolegaleasmahi.it/en/sitemap.xmlHello @sunlight1976
Seems Google is not seeing or blocking some URLs of Sitemap, as it’s giving an error:
We encountered an error while trying to access your sitemap. Make sure the sitemap is present at the specified address and that it is not blocked by Google. See our Help Center for further debugging support.
You need to contact the Google Support team in order to clarify this error.
Sometimes, your website is not opening without Proxy VPN. Maybe this is the main issue and your hosting provider should solve this issue. Please let us know about updates.
Best regards
