It’s just not supported. Keeping HTML tags is quite hard after translating one text to another unfortunately 🙁
Currently the only HTML tag which will be kept is tag – when it’s used for titles of paragraphs.
Thanks for the quick response, @tstachlewski. It looks like title tags (h2, h3) were not preserved in our case (the link that I shared), everything was converted into paragraphs. Have we configured something incorrectly?
Also, is there a way to edit the translated version(s)?

You did everything correctly. hX tags are not supported BUT based on your comment I will add it to my roadmap – and I will try to implement support of them – but you will need to be patient.
Regarding possibility of editing translated versions – not yet, but this is something which I want to add, I know that it would be useful for many people.
Thanks a lot, @tstachlewski! Both features would be amazing 🙂 I would say that the ability to at least preserve hN tags is a much more important feature for us and what currently stops us from using the translations across all our posts.
