    Hi

We are having a problem with pages showing 404 error. When we switch the page from Norwegian to English, it works. But when we switch back we receive a 404 error.

    Steps to re-produce:
    1. Go to https://melo.no/om-advokatfirmaet-melo/
    2. Click “EN” in the language switcher in the menu
    3. You will now see the translated page. Now click “NO” in the language switcher to go back to the Norwegian verison. You will now get a 404 error.

This happens for all sub pages. Only the home page is working, and that’a why I suspect it has something to do with the slugs.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Do you have any redirection on that link? Also, do you use the latest version of our free plugin, without having an old version of our paid product?

You should try a compatibility test also. *Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. If this fixes the problem, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

    Hi,

The customer of this website had earlier a license, but it has now expired. Is there a way to use the free version without breaking the translations?

    Hi,

The free version is independently from the pro one, so yes, it can be used without breaking the translations.

It turned out the SEO Pack Add-on which caused the issue. And I guess that will only work with a paid version of TranslatePress?
