    Hello,

could you please explain how to translate using the .pot file?
I noticed the .pot file in your plugin has several Ukraine translations?

Furthermore, after changing, where should I upload the file? Should this be in a child theme? Or under wp-content/languages?

    Hi,
The .pot file accompanied with our plugin is created by https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
Please install that plugin to translate our plugin to any languages you need. We have a guide on this, please read https://villatheme.com/knowledge-base/how-to-translate-plugin/
    Best regards

I prefer not to use Loco Translate, but edit the .po .mo files offline to limit the plugins and resources used on wordpress.

Are you able to guide me through the way to edit the correct files and upload them? For example with PoEdit.

Sorry we don’t have guide to edit the file manually yet. You can install Loco plugin just to edit your file then you can deactivate it after you finish editing.

    Hello,

as this is a paid plugin I was counting on some more support.
I have noticed your language file is located in \woocommerce-boost-sales\languages\

I can donwload the .pot file and translate it to my language.
However, how should I name that file? And where should I upload it?

I tried naming it woocommerce-boost-sales-nl.po (and .mo) and also nl_NL.po. But both do not seem to work. Can you point me in the right direction?

    Hi,

You can search it on the internet for further information.
    For example this guide https://wedevs.com/blog/95777/translating-wordpress-plugins

    Best regards.

Yes I tried this guide (and a few others).
However, they place it directly in the plugin folder where I want to (and should) place it in the child-theme folder.

    does your plugin support this?
I have done with this other plugins but your plugin seems not able to do this.
Can you please provide me with step-for-step support; as I have paid for this plugin but seem unable to translate. Also; it would be good if you would include some more languages from the start.

Sorry translated files must be in the plugin languages folder to make it work.
If you need further support, please create your ticket at https://villatheme.com/supports/forum/plugins/woocommerce-boost-sales/, this forum on WordPress is for free users only.
    Best regards
