Translate to Spanish and Catalan

Hi, I need to have three language to my website. Then I need to translate some text to Spanish and Catalan.
- I’ve download the .po and .mo files for Spanish.
- I don’t know how to indicate to the plugin to use them.
- I’ve created a folder ‘languages’ in the plugin directory and I’ve copy the .po and .mo files there
Finally it doesn’t work in Spanish.
Could you help me? thanks
I’m using the plugin QtranslateX to translate my theme.

The plugin no longer uses po/mo for translation. We are using the official WP Translation feature called GlotPress. Once https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/es/default/wp-plugins/wp-postratings reaches 100%, your WordPress will automatically download it for you.

I don’t understand very well.
Then, can’t I do anything to have the plugin translated?

You can translate it at the link I provided and once the strings are approved by the translator, it will be available for your WordPress.

Yes I see the link, but I see that the ‘Stable (latest release) or Development (trunk)’ is 100% translated.
-So, I understand that all the plugin is translated.
-I press the ‘Export’ link that offers the possibility to download the file ‘po and mo’ and I copy in the wp-content\language\plugin. But it doesn’t work.

Sorry but I don’t know anything about this kind of project.
But if I can do something to translate what I need, I do.

Hmm, it is not 100%, so WordPress will not make it available.
