Translate the CHOOSE FILE button and the text “No file chosen” into Spanish.

I hope you’re well today!

I’m afraid that Spanish translation for Forminator is not yet ready so if you need it urgently, you’d need to translate it yourself. However, since the translation is not ready, the translation package is also not automatically generated so it doesn’t get downloaded to your site even if the site is already set to Spanish and you do update translations there.

Editing English files won’t get you there and you’d need Spanish translation files.

You can export Spanish translation files from this page (at the bottom of the page you’ll find the form to export both .po and .mo files):

You can then add translations using e.g. PoEdit program and upload updated files to the

/wp-content/languages/plugins

folder of your WordPress installation. This would make them be automatically picked up and applied to the site, provided that the site is already using Spanish language.

You’re also more than welcome to contribute to Spanish translation directly via the page that I shared link to above.

As Adam has suggested you can change only one string with the translation files. The Choose File string can be found in Forminator translations files where it can be changed to a different string.

You can achieve the same with Loco Translate plugin, which will allow editing same files through your WordPress dashboard instead of editing the translation files manually:
