Translate “Text customization”

    Hello, I need help to translate the texts that appear on the web when viewed in Italian or English.
    The translator I have installed is GTranslate and Loco translate.
    When I switch to the other languages (Italian or English) the texts that I have customized are not translated.
    I have tried leaving it as the presets but they are not translated either.
    How can I translate them?

    Hola, necesito ayuda para traducir los textos que aparecen en la web cuando se ve en italiano o ingles.
    El traductor que tengo instalado es GTranslate y Loco translate.
    Cuando cambio a los otros idiomas (italiano o inglés) no se traducen los textos que he customizado.
    He intentado dejarlo como estaban los ajustes preestablecidos pero tampoco se traducen.
    ¿Como puedo traducirlos?

    Hi there

    I think that we need to separate your two goals here:

    a. Translate plugin in your own language (Loco Translate)
    This will essentially use .po files to provide translations for your current site locale
    I just tested wishlist plugin with Loco Translate, and I’m correcly able to translate most of strings of the plugin

    Of course, some of them will be set in plugin panel, and in that case you’ll need to change text from within the panel itself

    If you have any specific example of translations problems you found with this method, I’d be glad to check

    b. Make site “MultiLanguage” (GTranslate)
    This will simply convert site frontend using tools from Google; it won’t take in consideration any existing translation file, and any inconsistency in the final page cannot be mitigated by our plugin

    If you want a better solution, I suggest you to consider using a proper “Multilanguage” plugin, that will allow to define supported language, and switch locale of the site depending on user’s preferences
