    Hello Internet World,

I am currently working on a company website using WordPress and we have installed the plugin ‘Translate Press’ for our English and Japanese users. The default language is Japanese and the translation language is English.

I opened up the Translate Site hoping to edit the pages on the website but unfortunately, I am stuck on the homepage and the plugin does not allow me to open the other pages that are in need of translation.

It is my firs time using this plugin. I would love to know if anyone else has experienced similar issues. If so, how did you overcome this problem in order to move forward with the translation process?

    Looking forward to some help!

    Deeply grateful,

    Raine

    Hello,

You must be on the page you want to translate and then press the “Translate” button from the admin toolbar.
But if you don’t have the toolbar on the front end of your website add the following at the end of the page you are trying to edit.
    /?trp-edit-translation=true

    www.example.com/contact/?trp-edit-translation=true

This will open the Translate Editor.

Let me know if you manage to translate the rest of the pages.

    Cheers,

    Hello,

To explain a little, after I added the TranslatePress Plugin, I was able to translate a couple pages, then suddenly it stopped working. What I mean by this is, whenever I try to click and access a page, I am always lead to the homepage. Basically I am stuck on the homepage. That’s why I decided to make this forum post.

Thank you very much for your reponse @sdenis , I have just tried your suggestion and unfortunately, it will does not work. I am still stuck on the homepage.

    I tried Ctrl + Shift + J and it says the following;

?trp-edit-translation=true:1 A cookie associated with a cross-site resource at http://backenster.com/ was set without the SameSite attribute. It has been blocked, as Chrome now only delivers cookies with cross-site requests if they are set with SameSite=None and Secure. Could you please help me understand what it means and if this is the reason why I am stuck on the homepage?

    Hoping for some help!

    Hello,

As this seems to need further investigation my suggestion would be to create a ticket at:
    https://translatepress.com/support/ask-a-presale-question/

P.S — Please mention this link so me or my colleagues will know what we already tried and didn’t work.

    Kind regards,
