Translate pagination "Showing 1 to 10 of x results"

I am desperately trying to translate the “Showing 1 to 10 of x results” text in the pagination of the shop. It shows up at the bottom of a list of products.

I have .po and .mo translation files but this somehow does not get picked up in the pagination.

I searched everywhere and I did find something in result-count.php but after editing it, nothing happened.
