Hi Ok2vvv.
What version are you running?
Someone else mentioned that the translation file was corrupt. I rebuilt the pot file and added it to version 1.0.2
I’ll also test this today and update this thread.
Thank you.
I just installed LOCO and tried creating a new translation. It worked as expected.
Make sure you are on version 1.0.2 and try again.

Same issue here. The strings are translated in Loco but they still show in English on my page. I checked the gdpr.pot file and msgstr has correct value but it just doesn’t show on the page.
Hi @drew-nakari,
In which language are you translating? We are currently looking for translators at translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/gdpr.
This is the official way of translating plugins. After translating, a WordPress editor for the selected language will review and approve or ask for changes depending on their guidelines. After 95% of the strings get translated, everybody that is running the same language pack is going to have the translated plugin.
I’m translating into Slovenian.
I don’t want to translate everything and I don’t want to wait for an official translation. That is why I’m using Loco translate to translate the strings that I actually need.
As I said, Loco created the .po file correctly (as seen on you print screen https://imgur.com/jxCdv4l). I translated all other plugins and theme in the same way and they all work fine. But this plugin still shows buttons and string in English, instead of Slovenian.
Plugin version is 1.3.1
I just pushed a fix. Update to 1.3.3 and this should not be a problem anymore.
Is it possible to change the word ‘Center’ (as in Privacy Preference Center) to ‘Centre’, the UK English version?
I tried Loco Translate but couldn’t see the word ‘Center’.
It is
Look for Privacy Preference Center
Doh – that’s me being stupid!
Thanks, Fernando.
