Hi @cyberdogdesigns,
Complianz is shipped with translations for both German and German formal. If the site is set to either of these languages in settings/general, the cookie policy should load completely translated.
Hi @cyberdogdesigns,
Our article to quickly duplicate a page in another language: https://complianz.io/configuring-for-wpml/
Let me know if you have any questions,
regards Aert
Hi @cyberdogdesigns,
Is there anyway we can help you out, if it hasn’t been resolved yet?
regards Aert
Heyas and sry for the late reply due to Pentecost,
just checked once more and the site itself is set to German (Deutsch) while the WPML-Settings on the policy page are also set properly.
However, when I check the String Translation provided by WPML, all the complianz.io-related strings have a UK-flag per standard and I have to translate to German and Italian myself.
Best regards
Joe
Hi @cyberdogdesigns,
Without knowing the specific configuration, it’s hard to see where the issue is. WPML have looked at our compatibility thoroughly and didn’t find an issue.
If you changed the default language during configuration, it might cause issues with both WPML, and Complianz. The only way is to remove the prior configuration and start fresh with WPML, but at that point it might be more helpful to ask WPML.
regards Aert
I tried it now with a fresh install with a similar configuration like I got on the test-blog, so as it works there, it probably has to do with a configuration conflict on our end.
However, since we usually list the cookies in our privacy policy, via Read More / Mehr lesen / Leggi piu we decided to link to there which works totally fine.
Anyways, great plugin and proposal as it works perfectly on other sites I use the plugin with 😉
