# Translate “Continue reading”

 * Hello,
    I need to translate the text string “Continue reading” when I choose 
   the excerpts in blog view. How do I do that? Best rgds

 * Hello again,
    just a report on how I solved this problem. I installed Loco Translate
   and created an override for the text string. I suppose it would have been no 
   problem at all if this theme had been translated into my native language. I have
   seen solutions in other themes where text strings like this can be altered in
   the settings. Such a solution helps out when a theme translation is not at hand.
   It felt kinda akward to install a plugin for just one text string. But it works…

   you for choosing Bento (and for adding a solution to this thread!). An alternative
   way to translate a fixed string in a WP theme or plugin is to add a translation
   using POEdit (see e.g. [this guide](https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-translate-a-wordpress-theme/)).
   Since Bento uses localization best practices, it can easily be translated into
   any language using this method.
